I've had a few people ask how I managed to earn Yaps from Kaito. So I'm gonna share what I do (there's no secret to it) but I hope it helps some smaller accounts grow. Read on... 1. Find your interest In 2022 when my bags were down and the markets were burning I focused on bridging and interop because it's an area that I had interest in and not many ppl were talking about it. Now I don't mean you go yap about interop or post only about one area. But what it does mean is that you have to find something you enjoy, read and learn about it and be able to have a decent conversation about the topic. This is important because it's directly related to the next point. 2. Quality There is a lot of confusion I've seen surrounding this. It's not about whether your post or comment is of quality or not. What it means is: what benefit does a reader or the person you're commenting to get out of it. You could have the best quality content based on the same facts that everyone already knows. Hate to break it to you but that's not quality. Whether I learn something new or gain a perspective I've not had before or even an intelligent conversation in the comments; that is quality. And you can only do it with an area you're interested in and have knowledge about. Knowledge you've gained from reading and talking to ppl over time 3. Consistency This is a no brainer and I'm sure most understand it. But it's not a numbers game. 300 replies that have no or little quality as described above is worth less than 75 that are meaningful and with quality Try it for yourself and see what happens. p.s. I'm not the most consistent person either so don't feel bad if you're not 4. It's not all about Kaito If you're only yapping about Kaito projects then it's no suprise yaps are hard to earn. Yaps are awarded to ppl initiating and participating in trending or high signal conversations Expand what you talk about. Not everything is about projects on Kaito's leaderboards. It's about crypto, not Kaito. Conclusion: Doing the above does not guarantee you yaps but you'll probably stand a better chance. There are days when I get zero as well. What zero yaps days mean is that the conversations of interest are happening outside your focus area. And that's okay, it is expected. We will never be able to be in all the hot conversations and it's near impossible to achieve especially as a small account. I hope these insights help you on your small account journey.
