Life is a gift. That’s precisely why we should take care to protect it. Women should have the maximum chance for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Just because we can’t know *everything* doesn’t mean we should do *nothing*. The most natural, moral instinct is wanting your children to have a better life than you did, to suffer less. Stigmatizing that is backwards.
