People seem to think that "locking in" means being the first to know of all things happening everywhere, at all times and at once. But the only thing that leads to is an inability to focus and a lot of wasted time. Pick a few things you actually understand and have strong conviction in, let them ride for the long haul, reduce your screen time as much as possible, and curate your information sources and the frequency with which you allow them to occupy your headspace wisely. The only thing worst than roundtripping is the realization that comes after: even if you lock in your wins next cycle, you'll still never be able to get the time back you needlessly wasted chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
