wen i first moved to america 17 years ago, i experienced the power of "bullshit" for the first time people can just claim things / say big words, and somehow got away with it, if not become more powerful. this was evident in classroom, during group interviews ( remember those superday??), and even on dinner table i remember sharing this learning with all the international kiddos and all of us spent hours imitating how to sound "bigger than who we are" its all very silly and useless looking back. but i wonder how many 17 yo kiddos are experiencing the same struggles rn. i hope to give them a hug and tell them: doing > talking peace <3

my team and i did a 6 hours long retro this weekend on @0xMegaMafia 2.0 offsite. we talked about the good, the meh and next step. one thing that jumped to us was the idea of abundance ( i know it can be cringe!!) an abundant ecosystem means: - new ideas and narratives are encouraged - everyone is rooting for each other's success - builders explore synergy whenever necessary - people hold each other accountable ( calling out bullshit) we need to foster this mindset without forcing it into people's behavior ( forced behavior backfires) perhaps more boat ride around the copenhagen canal would do the trick

it’s almost midnight in Copenhagen (I'm typing these words in the darkness of our lovely hotel). we’ve just concluded the megamafia 2.0 program, a month-long residence program in copenhagen. most people have gone back home. Some have stayed extra days to enjoy nordic summer. now that I think about what happened in the last month, I'm convinced that the greatest joy in a startup is to see ideas become demo, demo get destroyed by feedbacks, new ideas surface from ashes that turn into new demo. this positive feedback loop brings the ultimate high and is almost the reason why megamafia offsites will always be a core pillar of mega’s ecosystem. net new apps net new experiences net new framework new friends If one doesn't push for the new, one shall starve.
