What I really appreciate about Ethereum and Bitcoin is that they set the standard for decentralization. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of decentralization. Distributed power is what ensures fairness, prevents censorship, tackles downtime, keeps all users independent. This opinion is an obvious consensus for L1s. I wish it were the same for L2s.
