An article I’ve been meaning to write for a while now is the suitcoin thesis. Yes, literally suits, the kind people wear in DC. While everyone’s been obsessing over how to extract value from memecoin mania (which is really just unregulated gambling with better branding), the real money is in becoming a suitcoin. Think about which cryptocurrency has the best name recognition after Bitcoin. It’s Ripple. That’s right, XRP. The token crypto natives love to mock, but the one that people outside our bubble always seem to ask about. Everyone’s busy trying to become the next Fartcoin (or whatever), when the real prize is becoming the next Ripple. Sure, you can argue all day about Ripple’s tech or the story behind it. But the reality is, technology and tokens are two different businesses. And nobody has played the token game better than Ripple, especially when you look at how their positioning has only gotten stronger over time. That’s the cheat code. That’s the unlock. Be a suitcoin.
