Very excited to introduce *signed agents* - a new way for @Cloudflare customers to easily identify interactions coming from agents. It's an extension of our long standing verified bots program that gives agent developers *and* website operators more precise controls and transparency. It's been fantastic working with @pk_iv @peytoncasper from @browserbasehq , the folks at @AnchorBrowser, Goose from Block, and Agent from OpenAI to be the first cohort of signed agents. It's straightforward: First, we verify the signatures implemented in the open standard we created called Web Bot Auth. We make it easy for a website operator to get data on interactions from those signed agents, and then they decide which agents they want to fast track or those they want to block. While most of this was possible with our tools prior to today, I'm very excited to make this easier for both developers and website operators. It anchors on the principles of transparency (of the agent making the request) and control (that the site operator gets to decide). Lots more to come.
