I've been in Australian now for over two weeks, including spending last 27 hours driving through the outback looking out the window, and I've yet to see any animal more exotic than a few birds. No Kangaroos, no Walabees, not anything other than a single feral house cat walking down a dirt path with a snake in its mouth. I feel I've been ripped off.
